would hope to catch at least one fish on his trip to the sea. He became
famous as an unlucky fisherman in his parts. One day on one of his regular
trip to the sea, he saw a shining gold fish got caught in his net. The

was overjoyed that he had caught one fish at last. When he pulled the net
and was about to remove the golden fish from the water suddenly a voice
interrupted his action. He was shocked to hear a fish speak in a human
voice. Suddenly the golden fish transformed into a merman
Merman said, “Please,

spare me I promise you three rare fish every day from this day forth”
Yakima
asked, “How do you know my name? How can I believe you that you
will provide three rare fish everyday for me if I let you go?”
Merman said, “I am the Sea Prince Ju Shan and I
have knowledge of all things under the sea and above the sea. I promise
you that my subject will fetch you the three rare fish everyday.”
Yakima
after much thought, replied, “Alright I shall let you go”
But before Ju Shan swam away, he warned

, “You can only sell these fish to an old man and do not ever try to use
them for yourself. If you do you will lose everything” |
